Description
Primary Purpose:
The Center for Educator Success is designed to transform educator talent pipelines by partnering with districts to reimagine a comprehensive approach to educator recruitment and retention.
Reporting to the Officer of Certification and Partnerships, the Compliance Manager will serve as a critical member of Certification and Partnerships team, responsible for coordinating and managing the admissions and certification process in accordance with Texas Administrative code.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Master’s degree from an accredited university
- Texas Teacher certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Instructional position that requires considerable attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to think systematically and provide novice teachers with day-one-ready tools.
- Extensive knowledge of programming, policies, and procedures to support teachers and lead candidates to obtain certification
- History of learning new technical skills quickly and independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and intensely in an entrepreneurial environment
- Regularly demonstrate exceptional work and work habits

- Deliver Texas Essential Knowledge Skills (TEKS) content specific to PK-12 to support teacher candidate development.
- Strong knowledge and demonstration of the Texas Teachers Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS).
Experience:
- Three to five years of experience working in a traditional or alternative certification program, preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Establish digital systems for efficient submission and processing of educator
- Maintain accurate data for continuous reporting of candidate
- Ensure that educators operate within the guidelines and regulations of the Texas Education
- Monitor student progress and develop certification plans in partnership with other managers and
- Manage the Center for Educator Success’ teacher and leader resource
- Learn new technical skills to build more efficient student data management and information
- Maintain open clear, and timely communication with all
- Serve as a collaborative team member open to giving and receiving
