The Event Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Event Managers in all phases of a booking – drafting proposals and contracts, creating event space diagrams, creating event orders and group resumes, as well as coordinating onsite billing in conjunction with our billing shared services and in house finance team.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This candidate should have a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask complete projects in a timely manner, detail oriented, organized and diligent. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1 year experience in hotel Events preferred.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of computer applications to include Envision Sales, EMS, ECA, ECC, Cognos, Hy-Res, Opera, Social tables, Sertifi, Hyatt Credit Portal, Group Bill, Planner Portal, Clover, Cendyn e-menus and e-brochure, EventBzz, Oracle, Track-It,Microsoft office, and/or Reserve is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have open availability to include Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays when needed.
