Description

- Provide clerical and administrative assistance to support department.
- Assist other work groups within the District based on workloads at any given time.
- Greet visitors and callers, route and resolve information requests.
- Keep team and supervisor informed regarding the progress and status of work activities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain ownership and mailing address information for the HCAD records.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Technical Responsibilities
- Assist property owners and the general public to resolve issues.
- Perform basic account research to resolve property issues through split outs, acreage corrections, combinations of real property accounts
- Accurately key files assigned in a timely manner.
- Research and analyze property information by collecting and verifying HCAD records.
- Process incoming mail.
- Create and update accounts from files in order to maintain WinRDE database.
- Research, index, key, and provide quality control using departmental software.
- Provide technical and clerical support by researching various department documents.
- Communicates procedures and important deadlines for action to both property owners and HCAD personnel.
- QC work for accuracy.
- Key government files for proration and total takings.
- Create spreadsheets, delete, modify and add accounts.
- Maintain HCAD records and database.
- Keep daily production report.
- Assist in other sections within I&A with keying agent fids (fiduciary) and protests to meet established deadlines.
