Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To record, index, and verify all documents processed through the Civil, Juvenile, Family, and Criminal courts for better customer accessibility.
  • To maintain department standards and achieve objectives utilizing knowledge of office codes, rules, policies, and department standard operating procedures.
  • Assist all personnel in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.

Requirements

All applicants must register and take the HRT Clerical Skills Test and score a minimum of 80% with a typing speed of 35 W.P.M. and 80% accuracy.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
  • Must have customer service experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of working under stress and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice.
  • Must be eligible for employment in the United States of America.
  • Testing will be required (Grammar 80% Typing 35 words per minute with 80% accuracy).

  • You will receive a test invitation and instructions via e-mail within 48 hours.
  • You will have no more than 5 business days to access and complete testing.
  • Your score will be automatically uploaded to your application.
  • The test may be taken once every 30 days.
  • Most recent test scores are retained for up to 6 months.

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
  • Regular Full-time
  • Monday - Friday | 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
    • Not subject to change.
Salary:
  • $20.00 Hourly
  • Based on 26 pay periods
  • Plus benefits
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to maneuver, including lifting and moving a minimum of thirty (30) pounds.

Note:

Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.
