Description
Primary Purpose:
The Cooperative Service Coordinator engages members who haven't used Choice Partners (CP) contracts, collaborates with consultants to provide tailored support, and manages the EUNA marketplace. They facilitate vendor connections, handle inquiries, support member registration, and lead outreach for unassigned members, aiming to increase contract utilization and improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in related field and/or equivalent work in purchasing or cooperatives
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of cooperative programs
- Experience in contract review
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Experience in data management, strategic planning and/or objective tracking methods
- Proficient in the use of computers and a variety of software and data management systems
- Preferred: TASBO (Texas Association of School Business Officials) certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing within cooperative or purchasing settings, demonstrating expertise in procurement processes and vendor management.
- Minimum of three years of experience in administration or resource management, showcasing strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage resources efficiently.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proactively lead outreach efforts to engage members who have not yet utilized a Choice Partners (CP) contract, collaborating closely with cooperative consultants to collect and analyze pertinent data for tailored member visits.
- Participate in weekly consultant calls to support with data and assist in addressing member needs.
- Oversee and optimize the EUNA marketplace, working in partnership with members and vendors to strategically align offerings with member requirements and ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with contract managers to understand contract specifications and scopes to better assist members.
- Connect members with key supplier partners to support their procurement needs and enhance overall contract utilization.
- Schedule and lead detailed meetings with members via phone, Zoom, and email, ensuring clear communication and resolving complex inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage all incoming vendor inquiries regarding registration, the RFP calendar, and approvals on IonWave.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of member registration, diligently follow up on interlocal agreements, and ensure the secure handling and timely processing of signed documents.
- Lead proactive outreach for members lacking an assigned cooperative consultant in their territory, or out of state, ensuring consistent service and fostering strong relationships across the board.
