THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work will include:

Student Enrollment
  • Leading and orchestrating the yearly lottery process for all incoming students at YES Prep Public Schools;
  • Establishing and maintaining geographical boundaries for all new and existing campuses for the purpose of determining transportation, feeder patterns, and lottery priority;
  • Validating the quality of all data collected and utilized in the lottery and enrollment process and using identified gaps in existing processes and areas to lead on targeted support to improve enrollment efforts;
  • Leading the vision and execution of the yearly student registration and re-enrollment processes, with the collaboration of the District Registrar, Compliance, and SIS teams for oversight and execution;
  • Developing and overseeing the internal student transfer policy and process, in collaboration with District Registrar;
  • Troubleshooting lottery and enrollment issues throughout the year, supporting Directors of Campus Operations and Lottery Coordinators with policies, protocols, and procedures;
  • Leading vendor management with enrollment system platform, SchoolMint, and a customer relationship management system, HubSpot to ensure service level agreements are sustained.

People Management
  • Supporting the Managing Director of Recruitment and Enrollment with the development of Student Recruitment Coordinators;
  • Building and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders within YES Prep (marketing, campus leadership, C-Suite, etc.) to create an aligned onboarding process for new students.

Project Management and Strategy
  • Creating and implementing the student recruitment strategic plan to meet critical enrollment targets;
  • Project managing student recruitment and enrollment efforts across YES schools to meet organizational enrollment goals;
  • Establishing and upholding clear student lottery processes and supporting the Student Recruitment Coordinators to execute processes;
  • Training, collaborating with, and ensuring accountability of school-based staff to ensure successful execution of enrollment activities and procedures;
  • Auditing campus lottery and enrollment practices to ensure compliance with YES Prep and Texas Education Agency policies;
  • Meeting with school leaders and Directors of School Operations to inform and drive student enrollment progress;
  • Developing key metrics in conjunction with the Analytics team to track and analyze all data regarding student enrollment benchmarks and goals;
  • Providing regular updates on progress towards goals to campus teams, campus leadership, and Home Office Leadership (including C-Suite);
  • Additional duties as assigned.

THE MUST HAVES
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in K-12 student recruitment
  • Demonstrated results in achieving student recruitment/sales goals
  • Strong cultural competency skills, including the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population
  • Exceptional project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an energetic attitude; ability to successfully engage, cultivate, and steward relationships with community members and organizational partners effectively and quickly build rapport
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and keen attention to detail

THE NICE TO HAVES
  • Strongly prefer fluency in spoken and written Spanish
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems such as Salesforce
  • Graduate degree in Marketing

  • CompensationThis position is an exempt, salaried position; offers commensurate with experience.
