QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of administrative assistant experience or three (3) years of experience in Human Resources required.
- Proficient in the use of personal computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Adobe.
- Rapidly acquire proficiency in a range of HR software systems.
- Experience utilizing and maintaining a variety of databases with the ability to export data and reports from various sources.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals and complex issues.
- Demonstrated personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks and change assignments on short notice, with little or no direction.
- Ability to multi-task various administrative activities/duties.
- Possess strong and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess strong decision-making skills and demonstrated personal integrity to support the best interest of the district.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 days
SALARY/PAY GRADE:
$39,742/CP-6
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the 2025- 2026 school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Promote and support teacher pathway opportunities to current educators, uncertified staff, and non- degreed CFISD employees, providing guidance on certification and development resources.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to strengthen teacher pathway programs.
- Support CFISD's teacher preparation program by assisting with participant recruitment, collaborating with partners, and tracking progress toward certification.
- Collect and report data on program effectiveness; recommend improvements to strengthen teacher pathways.
- Coordinate placement and clearance of observers in alternative certification and collegiate programs.
- Communicate with campuses to make placement decisions based on staffing needs, student populations, and campus strengths.
- Monitor certification candidates' progress, ensuring alignment with district goals, state requirements, and program timelines.
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication on certification requirements and processes.
- Support certification success by identifying barriers, developing solutions, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to improve processes.
- Operate proficiently in a range of various HR software systems.
- Perform administrative duties, including preparing and typing correspondence and reports for the Director of Talent Management.
- Support teacher recruitment efforts by engaging with stakeholders, including occasional travel.
- Promote and support departmental goals.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Standard o?ce equipment including personal computer and peripherals. Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress. Prolonged sitting, repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
