Spanish Schoolhouse, the largest Spanish Immersion preschool in the country, is growing and we are seeking a English Teacher for our Pearland campus. Come join our mission to create a bigger & brighter future for children!
Responsibilities of an ENGLISH TEACHER include:
Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students.- Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.
- Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.
- Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success.
- Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.
- Documenting children’s daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress.
- Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.
Requirements of an ENGLISH TEACHER include:
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development
- Previous teaching experience
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
Preferred Skills and Abilities of an ENGLISH TEACHER include:
- K-5 teaching experience

- 9am-12pm
- Monday-Thursday with the possibility of additional hours
