Job Summary
The Program Coordinator supports management in the daily administrative operations of the Clinical Education & Institute for Nursing Excellence. Will plan, direct and coordinate administrative functions within Clinical Education & Institute for Nursing Excellence. Tasks will include but not limited to transition to practice programs, education events, management of supplies, inventory, technology platforms, contracts and invoicing. The Program Coordinator will leverage project management skills to prioritize and complete all assigned tasks, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting Clinical Education & Institute for Nursing Excellence.Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Three (3) years of relevant professional or administrative program coordinator experience required
Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relations skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work in team environment under stressful situations
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with constantly changing priorities and deadlines
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction
Proficient with various office management software applications such as: Microsoft Office, Adobe, Project and Contract Management software; and the ability to navigate a Windows based environment
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Oversees the daily operations of the Clinical Education & Institute for Nursing Excellence departments. Responsible for performing a full range of tasks to monitor and ensure excellence and quality work.
Facilitates throughput within program processes of assigned areas ensuring adherence with established accreditation guidelines, policies, and best business practices to increase operating efficiencies and ensure quality service.
Uses independent judgment to investigate matters and give recommendations to management.
Monitors all issues which adversely affect operations of assigned sites and provides consultative advice to management regarding improvement and implementation of policies, processes, and operations.
Personnel responsibilities to include accountability for a safe, caring, efficient, and personalized customer experience within the administrative area and creates a work environment which supports collaboration.
Assures resolution of issues involving equipment or services to ensure departmental completion of daily work.
Serves as a preceptor, mentor and resource to staff and participates in educational in-services and programs. Ensures adequate staffing of programs supported by the assigned areas.
Adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization.
