- Generate cost estimates based on project plans and specifications using internal takeoff software.
- Prepare takeoffs and material quantity lists from construction drawings.
- Transfer data and apply testing frequencies using Excel-based estimating templates.
- Coordinate with clients and the marketing team to obtain complete contract documents and clarify project scope.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in all estimating documentation.
- Participate in department meetings and maintain open communication with team members.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance, which is essential to success in this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant estimating experience, preferably in construction materials testing or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with takeoff or estimating software is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a desk for extended periods while using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
