Description
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. - Reviews and approves Company preassessment engineering letters for lower risk in-service applications to provide technical support (i.e. assessing risk, stipulating welding parameters, communicating required welding techniques, etc.).
- Reviews and approves third-party vendor welding procedure specifications / procedure qualification records to ensure code/standard compliancy for various departments within the Company (i.e., capital projects, field engineering, and operations) for typical construction applications.
- Provides technical assistance to internal groups on aspects of Company welding procedures, and explanation of Company standards.
- Provide support during development of Company or project specific welding procedures and/or welder qualifications based on direction from Senior/Staff Welding Engineer or department management.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, Metallurgical Engineering, and/or equivalent.
- Knowledge in traditional welding techniques.
- Knowledge in Non-destructive Examination “NDE” (UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.).
- Hands-on welding experience in multiple welding processes.
- Ability to work in varied environments and climates.
- Is self-motivated and has high quality work ethics.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
