Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize email-first lifecycle campaigns (lead generation, retention, renewals, gameday engagement) through segmentation, automation, and personalization.
- Manage email marketing calendars day-to-day through Asana—including copy deadlines, design approvals, and QA timelines.
- Assign time through scheduled meetings and an up-to-date Asana calendar with ticketing, digital, and analytics teams to grow qualified lead pipelines.
- Own email testing tactics—develop hypotheses, A/B test subject lines, creative, and calls to action, and report outcomes.
- Introduce creative inspiration and industry examples to drive the evolution of email design and fan messaging.
- Serve as the primary digital point of contact for Luxe sales email strategy and support season ticket and ticketing list promotions.
- Collaborate with the content team to align fan messaging with key brand and ticketing initiatives.
- Support SMS and push as needed, ensuring messages complement and do not compete with primary email sends.
- Establish campaign-level & departmental KPIs and report on performance, testing insights, and fan interaction trends monthly or as needed.
- Take full ownership of assigned campaigns and report progress regularly.
- Represent the brand voice consistently across email, app, and SMS content.
- Keep leadership informed of wins, blockers, and optimization opportunities.
- Present campaign recaps and insights to full digital team in weekly meeting and via email.
- Create strategy around seasonal campaign strategies tied to ticketing or gameday.
- Contribute to planning for engagement around major team milestones through creating Asana projects and setting up continued meetings to push the project forward.
- Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Warehouse Manager.
Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel and fans at NRG Stadium and/or NRG Park during Houston Texans football games and other Club events; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and/or at NRG Stadium/NRG Park as may be assigned and not in a telecommuting manner.
Skills Required:
- Must show extreme care, consideration, and strong decision-making skills when managing key assets.
- Proficiency in use of Oracle Eloqua, Rover app push platform, PageProof review platform, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Adobe platforms.
- Proficiency in digital asset management.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Graphic design and/or video editing skills a plus.
- Ability to understand and read data analytics and deliver clear reports that can be shared internally.
- Ability to be consistently prompt and dependable.
- Ability to be proactive, suggest improvements and lead.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Ability to work long, flexible hours including gamedays, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
- Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
- Occasional travel related to job duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, squat, climb, twist and reach as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Prior experience with email marketing and marketing automation platforms preferred.
- Digital Media, Web Development, or Interactive Marketing experience preferred.
