GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for assisting in implementing the agency marketing programs, which include community education, non-remunerative solicitation of patients and/or patronage, and advertising. The support specialist identifies and creates lists of potential clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Following up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
- Understand and demonstrate the product or services to customers
- Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
- Helping management team members and executives as needed
- Sets and meets job related goals, ensuring referrals are submitted in a timely mannder.
- Identifies self-learning needs and utilizes educational programs to assist in learning.
- Contributes to and participates in team and individual efforts to improve the quality of service.
- Speaks effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.
- Complies with Agency policies on attendance/punctuality.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or equivalent required with Marketing/Sales experience.
- At least one (1) year marketing or administrative experience in a health care setting.
- Knowledge of home health care services and managed care plans.
- Computer literacy Data entry, basic spreadsheet and work processing.
- Excellent speaking and writing ability.
