The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Club’s brands include men's and women's professional teams - the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park.
The Club has a rich history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in-season tournament championships for both the Dynamo (2018) and Dash (2020) and is focused on building toward the next championships, inspiring and uniting the city of Houston through the sport of soccer and community outreach, and creating the most inclusive sporting experience and diverse fan base in the city and state.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position will focus on building and evaluating growth strategies for the club across business units, including but not limited to ticketing, marketing, corporate partnerships, and matchday experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker equipped to navigate the evolving sports, media, and entertainment landscape, and will bring a strong set of analytical and communication skills, a structured strategy toolkit, the ability to build cross-functional relationships, and a low-ego, roll-up-your-sleeves approach in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive analytics strategies to maximize fan engagement, optimize gameday operations, and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with the HDFC Strategy & Analytics team to execute initiatives and projects that support growth across business functions.
  • Support internal consulting projects that explore, evaluate, and recommend strategies and tactics aligned with the club’s priorities.
  • Develop analytical approaches to transform complex data into thoughtful, actionable, and scalable insights.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to identify source data, develop go-forward strategies, and support implementation.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to inform strategic planning and business development.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, private equity, or investment banking; sports industry experience is a plus.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus
