Wilsonart is currently seeking a Regional Director, Company Owned Distribution West to lead our Company Owned Distribution Sales Channel for nearly a dozen warehouse locations. This position will be responsible for directing the sale of products through assigned Metro locations and the sales force within those geographies. This position will develop relationships with customers, have full P&L responsibility including demand creation, sales and operations.
The ideal candidate should reside within the territory and near a major airport.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop action plan to drive annual revenue growth across the channel in all Wilsonart products.
- Manage costs and generate operational improvements and efficiencies that will increase profitability.
- Drive pipeline growth with specification rep team within the company owned distribution locations.
- Drive team to uncover new buying and specifying accounts within all Metro locations.
- Leverage CRM across the organization to improve sales and specification team effectiveness.
- Trends and directions within the channel to support growth.
- Products/Processes required, or desired by the channel.
- Analysis of the suitability of the channel for Wilsonart plans and requirements.
- Annual tactics that will ensure success.
- Wilsonart strategies, tactics, policies.
- New Product/Design launch strategy, content, and timing.
- Product strategies.
- Ensure that all pricing is consistent, fair, legal, and competitive within the channel.
- Oversee the pricing matrix, and the negotiated account process.
- Develop and implement promotions as required by market conditions.
- Managing organizational headcount
- Maintaining a talent bench
- Coaching and improving existing team and filling vacancies with top talent
- Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
- Knowledge of products marketed.
- Knowledge of sales/marketing techniques.

Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience; 1yr experience may substitute for 1yr of degree.
- 5-7+ years of field sales experience, preferably in the Building Materials or Products space
- 3+ years of Sales Management experience, leading teams spread across large geographies
