Position Description and Opportunity
The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Lyte Fiber’s overall marketing strategy and will be helping the VP of Sales & Marketing to drive initiatives to enhance brand visibility, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns. Backed by leading digital infrastructure investment firm SDC Capital Partners, Lyte is a well-capitalized fiber broadband start-up with aggressive plans to launch, scale and expand its FTTH, SMB and MDU business lines across multiple regions in Texas and surrounding states. The Director of Marketing will be joining an executive team that brings decades of fiber broadband, infrastructure and technology experience with a proven track record of building and growing successful businesses.
In successfully developing and growing these critical areas of the business, the Director of Marketing will have an opportunity to significantly accelerate Lyte’s growth trajectory. Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct Mail, Event Marketing, Digital/Social, Field Marketing, B2C, B2B
- Ensure Brand guidelines are impactful and consistent.
- Execute, in conjunction with 3rd party agencies and properties, a strategic communication cadence through press and social.
- Develop Turnkey playbooks to be utilized across markets.
- Collaborating with the Sales team to develop targeted campaigns that support the sales cycle and ensure marketing efforts are driving qualified leads, nurturing prospects, accelerating the sales cycle, and driving revenue growth.
- Collaborate with a team of marketing professionals across footprint, providing guidance and support and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive practical related work experience in a leadership role
- 7 years of marketing experience in Broadband or large MSO environment
- Experience managing 3rd party vendors
- Excellent Excel, Presentation and Project Roadmap skills
- Strong knowledge of fiber internet, video and mobile product strategies
- Track record and reputation for conducting business with the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
- A unique blend of business prowess, strategic thinking and marketing savvy combined with a customerfirst focus; must be able to synthesize market dynamics, customer behavior and tactics to achieve revenue and customer growth objectives. Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
- Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion, etc.).
- History of developing business cases and executing pricing and packaging initiatives; ability to validate market trends to business and customer needs through customer insight and competitive intelligence.
- Ability to develop and apply marketing tactics across digital, social media and nondigital channels.
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities. Proven ability to interface with and present to both internal and external key stakeholders and large audiences with conviction and confidence.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Will require travel up to 35% of work time
