Key Responsibilities for Senior Tax Accountant Associate:
- Serve as the primary accountant and contact for multiple clients
- Perform monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120S, 1120, 1040, 1041)
- Conduct basic financial analysis to support client decisions
- Provide proactive tax planning and advice throughout the year
- Must be based in the Houston area
- Prior experience at a public accounting firm
- Excellent communicator, proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
