Description
The Creative Services Producer operates television or video cameras to record images or scenes for commercial and promotional spots and operates editing equipment to produce images or scenes for commercial and promotional spots.
- Write, produce, direct, shoot, and edit content for commercials, promotions, and digital platforms
- Operate cameras and lighting for studio and field production
- Shoot video for lifestyle shows, interviews, and community event coverage
- Organize and edit raw footage into polished, story-driven content
- Collaborate with creative staff, sales teams, clients, and community partners
- Maintain production schedules and meet all project deadlines
- Proficiently operate Adobe Creative Suite
- Set up and manage shoots including talent, locations, and equipment needs
- Handle post-production, including color correction, graphics integration, and audio mixing
- Maintain and organize video and editing equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, filming sequences, desired effects, and shot requirements
Requirements & Skills:
- 2+ years of professional or academic experience in video production
- Proficiency with professional video equipment and non-linear editing systems
- Strong writing/storytelling skills and attention to visual detail
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
- High school diploma with 2+ years’ experience and strong portfolio
- College degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Occasional evening, weekend, or early morning work may be required
- Travel for shoots or community events required
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Preferred:
- Broadcast or agency production experience
- Some level of experience shooting live television
- Familiarity with TV and digital aspect ratios, codecs, and file formats
- This is a full-time, on-site position
Any other duty as assigned by the Director of Marketing & Brand or the station General Manager
