Summary
The Epidemiology Program is the largest program devoted to pediatric cancer epidemiology in the United States. The Program currently has several funded research projects focused on pediatric cancer etiology and survivorship. This position provides much-needed support to several of these projects through the following activities including supervising and coordinating day-to-day activities of research protocols for the Epidemiology program and supporting all research efforts of the program. Daily activities include training, overseeing and supervising research coordinators with screening, enrollment, and monitoring of research participants as well as ensuring accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.
Job Duties
- Provides training, oversight, and supervision of research staff and coordinators who have primarily data collection, data management, and support tasks.
- Supports investigators and research staff with reporting and study monitoring.
- Develops, implements, and monitors research protocols, procedures, and processes.
- Oversees data collection and documentation activities; queries databases and prepares reports; manages compliance documents.
- Assigns tasks, checks work at frequent intervals, sets goals and objectives for team members.
- Coordinates research staff schedules and monitors workloads.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Four years of relevant experience.
