Description
Provides routine technical assistance in performing assigned duties of various research projects. Directly impacts cancer research efforts with the Department of Genetics.
The ideal candidate will have prior lab experience, a collaborative and team-oriented mindset, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Key Functions
Assists in preparing laboratory reagents, equipment and supplies for experiments.
Prepares stock solutions for general lab use.
Cleans and organizes work areas, lab equipment, refrigerators and freezers as required.
Stocks supplies
Basic administrative tasks.
Performs other related laboratory tasks as required.
EDUCATION
Education: None
EXPERIENCE
Required: Six months laboratory experience.
Preferred: Prior lab experience, team-oriented, has a strong work ethics, a collaborative mindset, and willingness to learn.
