Position Description
The HR Receptionist & Filing clerk maintains employee records which includes auditing, updating, filing, and archiving employee files and Documents. As well as answers telephone calls, route calls, receive and forward emails, provide support to staff, and greet visitors. This position processes, enters, retrieves, and maintains employee information into various electronic databases and records accurately and in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Processes, enters, retrieves, and maintains employee information into various electronic databases accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with policies, procedures, and record retention guidelines.- Communicates both verbally and in writing to internal and external customers via telephone and email.
- Audit, update, and maintain employee files in multiple databases and records. Which includes scanning, copying, faxing and filing documents including confidential information.
- Greets visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Also, assists in ordering and receiving supplies and materials, as well as sends and receives interoffice mail and correspondence.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite and learn new software programs when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to Multitask
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Position Type and Typical Hours Work:
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.
