Title:
Sr. Technical AdvisorSr. Technical Advisor, KBR Technical Services, Inc., Houston, TX:
Provide technical support and leadership for chemical engineering activities within the Olefins Technology Group. Perform feasibility studies and develop engineering design deliverables. Conduct technical meetings with clients and handle interdisciplinary meetings and information transfer. Provide lifecycle technical support from basic engineering to plant operation. Evaluate and develop process improvements based on engineering and plant operating data. Mentor and train junior team members.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Must have 10 years of experience in each of the following:
- Olefins process design, optimization or operation; and
- Utilizing process design simulation software Aspen to develop new or revamped designs.
Must have 5 years of experience leading process engineering teams on basic engineering technology projects.
International travel required up to 15% and domestic travel required up to 5% to support client meetings and plant operations as needed.
