SLB is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Risk Manager to identify, analyse, and manage project risks throughout the lifecycle of Data Center projects. The Risk Manager ensures that risks and opportunities are actively tracked, quantified, and mitigated in coordination with project management, construction, and commercial teams. This role integrates risk management into daily project execution, ensuring transparency of exposure and supporting confident decision-making at all levels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the project risk register, ensuring risks are clearly defined, assessed, and regularly updated.
- Facilitate risk workshops with project management, construction, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Quantify cost and schedule impacts of key risks using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Integrate risk data with cost and schedule forecasts to provide a consolidated project outlook.
- Monitor the implementation of mitigation actions and update risk status accordingly.
- Support preparation of monthly risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Coordinate with functional leads to identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in project risk management or project controls for large-scale construction or industrial projects.
- Strong background in quantitative and qualitative risk assessment methods.
- Experience integrating risk management with cost and schedule performance systems.
- Proven ability to lead workshops, facilitate discussions, and communicate risk exposure clearly to management.
- Exposure to Data Center or mission-critical facility projects preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Professional certification in Risk Management (e.g., PMI-RMP, AACE DRMP) is preferred.
- Experience using risk management software such as Primavera Risk Analysis or Active Risk Manager is preferred
- Familiarity with project controls tools such as P6, Excel, and Power BI is preferred
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
