Description
GENERAL PURPOSEPosition leads a variety of administrative and semi-skilled tasks in the operation of city and park facilities.SUPERVISIONRECEIVEDPosition works and leads under the general supervision of the Facility Services Supervisor and Facility Services Crew Leader.SUPERVISIONEXERCISEDPartially supervises part-time staff with the help of the Facility Services supervisor and Facility Services Crew leader.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESWill supervise p/t staff in the park facilitiesAssist with programs as assigned or as neededMust be available Monday thru Sunday including holidaysDrive city vehicles including trucks, passenger vans and busesWeekly report on park restrooms and the concession stands.Assist with trainingRestocking supply closets, reporting and entering work ordersPERIPHERAL DUTIESAs assigned by department
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe employee is required to sit, walk, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and lift.The employee is occasionally asked to lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs. and sometimes lift and/or more than 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job and includes close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
