Description
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of building systems. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, HVAC, communications, and audio/visual systems. Pest control related to integrated pest management as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED certificate, some college or industrial training on job related skills
- EPA Certified for CFC Refrigerant Recovery or Noncommercial Pest Certified Applicator license preferred but not required
- Maintain a Texas driver's license, commercial driver’s license and a clear driving record
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge and skill in troubleshooting and working with electrical equipment up to 277 volts
- Knowledge of audio/visual equipment and the ability to do minor repairs
- Knowledge and skill in painting and drywall installation or repair
Experience:
- Minimum three years previous experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and HVAC equipment.
- Perform communication connections including data and voice.
- Operate security alarm system.
- Operate computerized management system.
- Responsible for compliance with safety policy for self and other employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
