Work You'll Do
As a Consultant, you will collaborate with leaders across the Finance and Technology organizations and leverage your understanding of finance domains, technology architecture, and emerging trends in AI and data to help elevate the finance function by designing and implementing innovative strategies across key Finance domains. You will manage day-to-day relationships with client peers, gain exposure to a variety of industries, and develop a broad understanding of the full range of services offered by Deloitte.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects in the following core focus areas:
Finance Strategy
- Assess finance capabilities and maturity to identify improvement opportunities
- Support the development of finance vision, business cases, and transformation roadmaps
- Advise on finance service delivery and operating model design, including organizational structure, talent, and governance, with a focus on digital and data capabilities.
- Advise on capital allocation strategies
- Assist in designing effective finance organizations
- Align finance transformation initiatives with broader business and technology strategies.
Core Finance Transformation (ERP & EPM)
- Assess and recommend finance system architectures, including ERP and EPM platforms, cloud solutions, and integration frameworks
- Support platform evaluations and selections to enable clients' finance visions
- Support the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and future-ready finance technology ecosystems
Cost Transparency and Optimization
- Analyze current finance processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and cost drivers
- Benchmark costs against industry standards and best practices to highlight areas for improvement
- Conduct detailed spend analysis to understand major cost categories, trends, and opportunities for savings
- Develop actionable cost optimization strategies such as process automation, outsourcing, shared services, and renegotiation of vendor contracts Support implementation of cost-saving measures, including technology enablement (e.g., AI-driven expense management), process redesign, and policy changes

From operations to business partnering, we deliver trusted, efficient, and value-centric outcomes for global enterprises. Our services include strategy development, road mapping, strategic PMO, enterprise value creation, and finance automation and innovation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or consulting (large or boutique), with exposure to one or more of the following areas:
- Finance Strategy
- Finance Transformation
- Finance Technology Architecture, Data, and AI
- Capital Strategy
- Cost Optimization
- Experience in financial modeling and/or business case development
- Exposure to finance technology and architecture strategy, including AI
- Experience supporting or managing workstreams in transformation projects
- Ability to drive project planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope; prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior client leadership
- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with finance technology systems and cloud platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, OneStream), as well as data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and a basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Experience overseeing a team of resources
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Finance, or related discipline)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,225 - $163,100.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
