Overview
Axia International seeks full-time candidates for our Controller, Head of Administration, position. Ideal candidates have a passion for serving others, demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness, and a desire to apply broad administrative skills to a portfolio of clients. Additionally, candidates should enjoy working in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support all areas of administration for multiple clients and Axia, including client care, the monthly accounting close process, financial statement preparation, performance management, payroll and benefits, and compliance
  • Develop administrative policies and procedures, plus ensure an effective control environment, for Axia and its clients
  • Proactively assist clients and Axia with risk management, business performance reporting, and decision making, which includes providing meaningful variance analysis versus plan and critical driver / impact assessment of results
  • Contribute to the client's and Axia's periodic planning and budgeting process
  • Support third-party audits or reviews, as well as tax return preparation and other compliance requirements
  • Lead and support other special projects as may be required

Qualifications
  • 4 to 10 years of experience
  • High integrity, enthusiastic, and passionate, able to build positive relationships
  • Strong team leadership, organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Willingness to be hands-on and accountable for the details
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel
  • BSc or BA in accounting, finance or related
  • MS in accounting, finance, or related
  • Certified Public Accountant license
  • Non-profit experience is a plus
  • International non-profit or business experience is a plus

Salary

$85,000 - $115,000 per year
