Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our finance team in Houston, TX. The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial planning processes, analysis, and reporting. This position will work closely with senior management to provide actionable insights, improve financial performance, and ensure effective budgeting and forecasting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Responsible for preparation and management of the company's annual budgeting process, monthly reforecasting and cash flow projections. Develop detailed financial models and forecasts to support decisionmaking.
- Analysis & Reporting: Provide indepth analysis of financial performance. Create regular and adhoc financial reports for senior leadership.
- Variance Analysis: Track actual financial performance versus budget/forecast and analyze variances to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with crossfunctional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to understand financial drivers and provide strategic recommendations based on financial data.
- Trend Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial trends and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Project Support: Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.
- Financial Systems & Tools: Utilize financial systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, BI tools) to streamline processes and improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Cost Control & Optimization: Collaborate with departments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and financial optimization, while maintaining budget compliance.
- Adhoc Projects: Support various financial analysis and strategic projects as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Familiarity with ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with various departments and senior management.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
