Description
- Support site functions, roles and initiatives as assigned.
- Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications
- Responsible for incident and request management using ITSM tools
- Duties/ tasks are standardized.
- Resolves routine questions/problems and, refers more complex issues to higher levels.
- Work under direct supervision and follows established procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Respect for confidentiality is a must
- Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed.
- If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure requires staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
- Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
- Assists other employees in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
- Participates in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
- High school diploma.
- 3+ years related to work experience in Information Technology, Business Administration or Technology Management.
- Foundational knowledge in some or all of the following areas: Application Analysis, Debugging, Functional Analysis, Programming , Software Design, Software Testing, Software Documentation, Programming Language, Software Requirements Specification, Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Software Bug Tracking Software.
- Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email and Microsoft Programs
- Competent in written and spoken English, any other languages are an extra
- Be able to operate in a rapidly changing, very complex technical environment
- Demonstrated customer focus, empathy, and structured thinking are required together with high standards of process adherence and proven record of client satisfaction
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Huntsman’s policy/ compliance framework, business processes, reporting procedures and existing and planned information systems and services for the site (s) in which they operate.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative, and as part of a team
- Keep up to date with technological advances.
- Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during employment

- At least one of the following industry standard certifications:
- Security+
- CCNA
- Network +
- MCSE
- Or other relevant industry standard certificates.
