QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task, numerous complex administrative activities, work collaboratively, and manage time.
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Suite, Outlook 365, Google Drive; skilled in the use of graphics, charts, tables, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a pleasant telephone personality.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

210 days


SALARY/PAYGRADE:

$31,207 – CP5

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support the Elementary Science Coordinator and the Elementary Math Coordinator.
  • Place and receive telephone calls.
  • Design and type correspondence and documents.
  • Maintain appointment schedules and assist in the preparation of conferences, teacher/liaison meetings, workshops, staff development, etc.
  • Assemble materials for various district level curriculum documents.
  • Set-up and process all trainings through MyLearning.
  • Set-up and maintain all budgets, process time sheets, and mileage forms for math and science curriculum coaches.
  • Process purchase orders, secure quotations for bids, maintain and audit ledger sheets on Excel and Google.
  • Order supplies using computerized distribution requisition form.
  • Work with HR to process and set-up science tutors. Process all time sheets; maintain budgets and student attendance for science tutoring program.
  • Work with HR to process and set-up math interventionists and extra duty for math teachers. Process all time sheets; maintain budgets and student attendance for math intervention program.
  • Serve as the liaison between the elementary science coordinator, SRC, Nature Trails, parents, teachers, and vendors.
  • Process T-shirt orders for K-5 student Field Trips for science.
  • Assist with the organization of the summer school program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Elementary Science Coordinator and the Elementary Math Coordinator.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
