Job Summary
Position is responsible for administering and scoring neuropsychological and psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.Ranked among America’s Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report for more than two decades, TIRR Memorial Hermann offers the opportunity to work with top level clinical Neuropsychologist and gain exposure to unique patient populations and complex diagnosis. *8-10/hrs. per week varied schedule*

Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Masters or Bachelors degree in Psychology or related field
Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) or eligible for LPA or Certified Specialist in Psychometry preferred
Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills:
- One (1) year of experience in administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests preferred
- Bilingual Spanish - English candidates preferred due to need to service Spanish-speaking patient population
- Ability to lift test materials and files weighing approximately five (5) pounds
- Ability to manage physically aggressive and/or agitated patients
- Ability to perform duties at desk for prolonged times
Principal Accountabilities
- Excellent oral, written and interactive communication skills.
- Organize activities of the neuropsychological testing laboratory.
- Maintain client files and complete necessary documentation.
- Assist with entry of data into the neuropsychology services log and participate in departmental research projects.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
