Overview

The Finance Assistant supports AAA’s mission by performing essential financial and clerical duties related to the administration of arbitration and mediation cases. Key responsibilities include processing payments and deposits, verifying transactions, assisting with collections, maintaining financial records in AAA’s case management system, and supporting case administrators with reallocations and refunds. This role also involves data entry, document preparation, and ensuring strict confidentiality of case information and records.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement; candidates must reside at a U.S. location within 125 miles of their assigned office location. Compensation will be determined based on geographic location.

  • Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX, Buffalo, NY; Fresno, CA - $44,500 - $47,100
  • Houston, TX; Johnston, RI; Minneapolis, MN - $45,200 - $47,900
  • Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Philadelphia, PA; San Diego, CA; Voorhees, NJ - $47,300 - $50,100
  • Boston, MA; Los Angeles, CA - $49,200 - $52,100
  • New York, NY; San Francisco, CA - $52,500 - $55,600

This position is also eligible for quarterly performance-based incentives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED in finance-related discipline and 0-2 years of relevant experience (bookkeeping, accounting/accounts payable role, etc.) required.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong Communication and customer service skills
