Job Summary
The Corporate Development Manager will support the Head of Global M&A in shaping and executing SLR’s acquisition strategy, managing transaction processes, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives. Acquisitions and strategic investments are central to SLR’s global expansion and sustainability leadership. This role will work closely with regional managing directors, technical discipline leaders, and senior executives across SLR’s global footprint to evaluate and execute M&A opportunities. The role will also collaborate with Strategy & Development teams across SLR’s six global regions and interface with the SLR Group to ensure alignment on processes and promote best practice sharing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the end-to-end M&A process, including origination, strategic assessments, financial modelling, due diligence and negotiation.
- Conduct market and company analysis to identify and assess acquisition targets aligned with SLR’s strategic priorities.
- Maintain and develop relationships with relevant investment banks and advisory firms to support deal origination efforts and market intelligence.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and scenario planning.
- Prepare investment proposals, board presentations, and other materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence efforts, engaging internal teams and external advisors.
- Provide strategic research and insights to the Head of Global M&A, CEO, and other senior leaders to inform investment decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, etc.) preferred.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting.
- Proven ability to lead complex transactions and cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and commercial judgement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
- High learning agility, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel nationally and/ or internationally.

• The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
