Position Overview: Harris County Universal Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Peoplesoft Financials functional analyst to join our ERP team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Peoplesoft Financials GL, KK and AP, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to translate functional requirements into system solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to support, enhance, and optimize our Peoplesoft Financials environment.Job Responsibilities: Lead functional analysis, design, and configuration of Peoplesoft Financials modules (e.g. GL, KK, AP, AR, AM, Expenses, Treasury)Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specificationsCollaborate with technical teams to support development, testing and deployment of enhancementsPerform system testing, UAT coordination and issue resolutionProvide production support and troubleshooting functional issuesAnalyze current system performance and business processes, identifying areas of improvement. and recommending upgrades or changesAssist in upgrades, patches, and implementation projectsTrain users and create functional documentationHarris County is an Equal Opportunity Employer https://hrrm.harriscountytx.gov/Pages/EqualEmploymentOpportunityPlan.aspx If you need special services or accommodations, please call (713) 274-5445 or email ADACoordinator@bmd.hctx.net. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with Peoplesoft Financials 9.0 and aboveKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities: SME on GL/KK/APWorking knowledge of AR, AM, Expenses and TreasuryAbility to write functional specs and work with developers on customizationsStrong understanding of Peoplesoft architecture, workflow and securityExcellent analytical, problem solving and communication skillsApplicants for this position will be subject to a criminal background check that includes being fingerprinted.
