Job Duties

The Instructor will conduct research focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying several neurodevelopmental disorders. The role will involve conceptualizing, designing, and executing research projects, applying advanced genomic approaches in both stem cell and mouse models. He or she will play an active role in mentoring trainees, including graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and technical staff, by providing scientific guidance and experimental oversight. They will write manuscripts and grants and will also contribute to their advisor's grant preparation and manuscript development. As a senior member of the lab, he/she will also participate in shaping research strategy, fostering collaborations between lab members, and maintaining a rigorous and collaborative scientific environment that supports innovation, reproducibility and training excellence.
