Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
  • To record, index, and verify disposed court documents for better customer accessibility.
  • Stores and maintains disposed court and administrative records which fall under the jurisdiction of this Office.
  • Monitor and maintain online public requests for documents.

Requirements

All applicants must register and take the HRT Clerical Skills Test and score a minimum of 80% with a typing speed of 35 W.P.M. and 80% accuracy.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
  • Must have Customer service experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Must have valid Texas ID or Driver license.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills and Balance work/Home life.
  • Must display adequate communication skills by clearly expressing ideas and exchanging information effectively in a verbal and non-verbal format.
  • Must be flexible in work assignments and other duties assigned without complaint.
  • Must be a Team Player and demonstrate a positive attitude without being intimidating, superior, or nonchalant and willingly participate in department and organizational activities and functions.
  • Must be able to multitask and easily adapt to changing daily workflow.
  • Testing will be required. (Grammar 80% Typing 35 words per minute with 80% accuracy)
  • Must be eligible for employment in the United States of America.

  • You will receive a test invitation and instructions via e-mail within 48 hours.
  • You will have no more than 5 business days to access and complete testing.
  • Your score will be automatically uploaded to your application.
  • The test may be taken once every 30 days.
  • Most recent test scores are retained for up to 6 months.

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
  • Regular Full-time
  • Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Salary:
  • $20.00 Hourly
  • Based on 26 pay periods
  • Plus benefit
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to maneuver, including lifting, climbing ladders and moving a minimum of thirty (30) lbs.

Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.
