Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of IFS, this leader will work cross-functionally to expand TRC’s impact in the gas infrastructure sector, strengthen client relationships, develop high-performing teams, and ensure top-tier project execution across the country.
- Lead TRC’s gas and integrity engineering business, delivering safe, compliant, high-quality services aligned with TRC’s strategic goals.
- Develop and execute a long-term vision for business growth, identifying new market opportunities and expanding TRC’s pipeline of major projects.
- Act as a key face of the company to clients, utilities, pipeline operators, and industry regulators, building long-term relationships and trust.
- Drive business development efforts, manage client accounts, and lead proposal strategies to win new work and grow revenue.
- Oversee day-to-day project execution, ensuring production quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery excellence.
- Build, lead, and mentor technical teams, ensuring strong performance, retention, and continuous development.
- Identify and hire top-tier engineering and project delivery talent to support TRC’s expanding operations.
- Design and implement quality assurance and quality control systems to uphold technical excellence across all gas projects.
- Provide leadership over pipeline integrity management programs, including ILI, hydrotesting, corrosion control, risk-based assessments, and long-term asset planning.
- Ensure full compliance with PHMSA, DOT 192, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop internal policies, tools, and systems to support scalable engineering operations and compliance.
- Work closely with Legal, Regulatory, and Safety teams on filings, audits, and emergency response procedures.
- Represent TRC at industry forums, with regulatory agencies, and in client-facing settings to promote innovation, excellence, and thought leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; advanced degree or PE license preferred.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in gas pipeline engineering, integrity, and operations.
- Strong background in pipeline safety and compliance, including familiarity with PHMSA and DOT regulations.
- Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary teams and delivering major capital projects.
- Experience growing engineering businesses, managing client relationships, and driving revenue.
- Expert knowledge of ILI tools, integrity verification, corrosion mitigation, and QA/QC processes.
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with engineering delivery and resource planning.
- Ability to collaborate across functional lines and influence within a matrixed organization.
- High emotional intelligence, strong ethics, and a strategic, solution-oriented mindset.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
