Description
Position Details
- Works directly with System Administrator II and III to ensure stability of network and servers.
- Documents, tracks, and monitors problems using internal ticketing system to ensure timely resolution and in turn, document accurately for future reference.
- Serves as an escalation and primary contact for issues reported by helpdesk.
- Maintains hardware and software inventory systems to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Administers Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2010/12, and DNS.
- Creates domain accounts, Exchange mailboxes, phone setup and troubleshooting network printers.
- Assists users with setting up employee VOIP phone extensions, including hardware.
- Manages cell phone accounts for all employees and works with vendors for new hardware, troubleshooting and/or repair of cell phone services.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
- Microsoft’s 2008/2012 Server OS platforms with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Active Directory.

- Two (2) years of job-related hands-on support experience.
- Must have Apple and PC hardware and software troubleshooting experience in a creative environment.
- Some experience with PBX or VOIP phone systems required.
- Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grids, hazardous waste treatment, or water treatment systems.
- Routine office environment.
- Sitting or standing in one location much of the time.
- Some stooping, lifting, or carrying objects light weight may be required. Use of video display terminal.
