- The Logistics Custodian provides essential operational and facility support for the Office of Commissioner Rodney Ellis to ensure the seamless execution of precinct events and reservations. This role is responsible for the precise setup and breakdown of event spaces, the safe relocation of heavy equipment, and the secure transport of critical documents and supplies.
- As a primary onsite representative, the Logistics Custodian monitors community center reservations to ensure guest compliance with permit agreements and safety protocols. By coordinating closely with administrators and maintaining meticulous facility records, the Technician ensures all precinct assets are managed efficiently. Ultimately, this position serves as the backbone of precinct operations, maintaining high standards of organization, safety, and professional service across all facilities.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- Valid Texas State Driver's License
Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering items up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Hours will be discussed during departmental interview.
- Evening and weekends shifts are required.
- On-call as needed.
- Indoor and outdoor environment; subject to regular exposure to dust, fumes and odors.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
- This is a physically active role.
- This role requires the ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally
