Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Design, train, test, and deploy machine learning models.
- Translate business requirements and define a clear roadmap for delivering ML models.
- Perform rigorous testing of ML models and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Incorporate academic research and industry practices to develop best-in-class solutions that improve customer experience.
- Maintain and enhance existing ML models by adding new features through cutting-edge research.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with NLP, machine learning, deep learning, optimization, and algorithms.
- Prior knowledge of search/recommendation systems and Gen AI is a plus.
- Proficient in Python, PySpark, machine learning libraries, SQL, and big data processing systems in a cloud environment.
- Proven track record of building ML models and delivering impactful customer-facing products, as well as mentoring junior data scientists.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- Experience with building AI/ML models for search capabilities (5-6 yrs)
- ML Engineering (5-6 yrs)
- Strong Python Hands-on experience (3-4)
