Primary Responsibilities:
The Ancillary Scheduler will be responsible for:
- Scheduling ancillary tests and procedures in a medically correct sequence in the Radiology Dept., Cardiology & Pulmonary Lab and Nuclear Medicine Dept.
- Outsourcing patients to contract vendors and preparing authorization for exams done outside of the clinic
- Confirming and rescheduling appointments when equipment is down
- Providing patients with appropriate instructions, directions, and prep kits

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited program
- 1+ years of scheduling experience
- Basic PC literacy including Alpha/Numeric Forms Entry
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years medical or radiology experience
- Insurance knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume area
The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
