Reach Healthcare Services is a home health agency that provides a large range of services to an extremely diverse patient group. We are located in Houston and service a 50 mile radius of the Greater Houston area.

We are seeking a full time or part time Infusion RN with Port-A-Cath, PICC, and good Peripheral IV Access experience for weekly infusions across the Houston metroplex. Experience with biologic and enzyme replacement therapy preferred but will educate and train on medications to be administered.

As an IV Infusion Registered Nurse, you:

  • Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients
  • Have good peripheral access skill
  • Some later shifts may be required such at 1p-6p or 2p-7p to accommodate our school aged patients
  • Schedule is generally flexible. No weekends, holidays or on call requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care as defined in State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Implements plan of care initiated by the clinician.
  • Provides accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care.
  • Assesses and provides patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care.
  • Participates in coordination of home health services, appropriately reporting the identified needs for other disciplines (HHA, OT, PT, MSW, ST, and Dietician) to the clinician and/or clinical supervisor.
  • Uses equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
  • Participates in personal and professional growth and development.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • One year nursing experience required. Community/home health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the State.
  • Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and organization requirements and is in good working order.

Compensation: $45/hr. dependent on experience and mileage reimbursement. Infusion duration range from 4 to 8 hours.
