Description:

Job Summary

The Coordinator, Web Support and Publications oversees social media sites, websites, and the production of marketing and promotional materials.

Duties

  • Provides technical support to faculty, staff, and administration
  • Provides instructional design services and support to all faculty as it pertains to delivery of instruction
  • Produces high quality marketing materials in print and for digital projects
  • Coordinates a cohesive and effective look and feel for all publications that adhere to the relevant graphic standards
  • Researches, evaluates, implements, and supports all software packages
  • Collaborates with other areas as for various web based development projects, marketing, and photography needs as required
  • Develops and maintains website and resident forms
  • Performs analysis of web issues and makes corrections in a timely manner
  • Provides training and develops, maintains, and distributes training materials
  • Serves as department liaison for colleges and/or departments

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in lieu of education

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of related job experience
  • Education in lieu of experience

License/Certification:

  • None required

Preferred Qualifications

  • None

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of online and print marketing protocols, and the related trends, issues, and accepted practices
  • Knowledge of instructional design

Skills:

  • Good technical skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse university community.

Work Location and Physical Demands

Primary Work Location:

  • Works in an office environment

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements; individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks.
