KPMG is currently seeking a Manager IC, Tech Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Drive efficiencies and automation that help support the resilience of the Firm's most critical applications
- Set team goals and SLA's, offer and receive feedback while partnering with near-shore and offshore IT-DR teams; help set the IT-DR Lifecyle roadmap and identify unaddressed areas for solutioning
- Assign team members to the right projects at the right time within budget and timelines; ensure team members have skills and tools to perform their jobs, acting as point of escalation to leadership
- Focus is blended between execution and tactical planning and participation in strategic planning; contribute to tactical plans and monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance for the IT-DR Area
- Advocate alignment with relevant strategies, ensuring adherence to these strategies and related commitments while partnering with ERO (Enterprise Resilience Organization) and Risk management; utilize advanced technical expertise and resources to effectively guide IT disaster recovery and Business application team members towards optimal solutions
- Regularly engage with department management and staff across Digital Nexus/functional processes to influence client expectations and provide well-considered alternatives, suggestions, and recommendations for improvements; ensure that goals and objectives are consistently
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in IT-Disaster Recovery and/or leading IT Infrastructure or Application Teams
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; IT-DR related Certifications a plus
- Expert knowledge understanding IT Infrastructure, Networking, DNS, Load Balancing, Servers, High Availability
- Demonstrated experience in an enterprise setting as part of an IT-DR team or Application team that performed IT-DR planning and Testing. i.e. Application Fail-Over and run out of DR site
- Capable leader and effective communicator, with a proven track record of successful collaboration with application teams as well as nearshore and offshore teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Office Suite and Agile
