Position Details
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
- Develops, implements, and evaluates recruitment initiatives aimed at adult learners, transfer students, and non-traditional populations.
- Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with employers, workforce agencies, community colleges, and professional organizations to promote COTS programs and identify potential student pipelines.
- Plans and conducts presentations, information sessions, and recruitment events on- and off-campus, highlighting the unique flexibility and interdisciplinary nature of COTS programs.
- Collaborates with university departments, including Admissions, Marketing, Financial Aid, and Career Pathways, to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated recruitment efforts.
- Tracks and analyzes recruitment and enrollment data, including prospective student interest, applicant trends, and graduation outcomes, to support continuous improvement and institutional reporting.
- Assists prospective students with application completion, program selection, and resource navigation, ensuring a supportive experience from inquiry through enrollment.
- Creates and disseminates targeted marketing materials and digital communications to reach adult and working professionals.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual reports summarizing recruitment activity, employer partnerships, and student outcomes.
- Participates in university and community events representing the College of Transdisciplinary Studies.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred:
- Experience working with adult learners, transfer students, or workforce education programs.
- Familiarity with data tracking and reporting tools (e.g., CRM systems, Banner, Excel, Power BI).
- Demonstrated success in building community and employer partnerships.
- Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system.
- Routine office environment.
- Sitting or standing in one location much of the time.
- Some stooping, lifting or carrying objects light weight may be required.
- Use of computers and audiovisual equipment for presentations.
