Graham Media Group

Houston, TX 77074

Description

We’re looking for a creative, highly organized, and proactive Office Manager / Executive Assistant to support the General Manager and station leadership team. This role is central to keeping our operation running smoothly — managing schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, handling purchase orders, and supporting internal communications that keep our team connected and informed.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic media environment and enjoys being at the heart of a collaborative, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager and station leadership team.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, arrange travel, and prepare meeting materials and presentations.
  • Create and process purchase orders, expense reports, and other administrative documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Support internal communications across the station, helping to keep teams aligned and informed of key initiatives, events, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and help execute station meetings, events, and staff gatherings — ensuring logistics, scheduling, and follow-up are handled seamlessly.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments, promoting strong communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain organization in daily operations — anticipate needs, solve problems, and keep projects on track.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of administrative, coordination, or executive support experience (media or creative industry experience preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to craft clear, professional correspondence and presentations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management or scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Why Join Us

You’ll play a vital role in helping a leading local media organization operate efficiently and communicate effectively. Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make an impact as part of a passionate, forward-thinking team shaping the future of local television.
