What You’ll Do
As a Bid Contract Administrator (BCA), you’ll play a critical role in minimizing financial and legal risks for Ford AV. Reporting to the Bid Division Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring every job has a binding customer contract.
- Managing accurate and timely customer change orders.
- Overseeing license, insurance, billing, and lien waiver requirements.
- Securing and maintaining all legal documentation related to JC projects.
- Negotiating and finalizing legal agreements for equipment and services.
- Monitoring project scopes to identify changes and secure customer change orders as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in construction or related fields.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Electronics or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel).
- Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Experience with blueprint reading (preferred).
- Background in installation, engineering, or management.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

In a typical office setting, the employee will communicate and engage with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental conditions. Although the role mainly takes place indoors, there might be occasional exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold and environmental elements.
