Sponsorship Fulfillment Coordinator – Harris County – Houston Sports Authority

Position Summary (Independent Contractor)
The sponsor fulfillment coordinator will work internally and in coordination with external partners to fulfill contractual obligations related to marketing, publicity, and hospitality associated with the FIFA World Cup 2026 Houston Host Committee. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Project Management/Coordination (50%):

·         Source venues for meetings and events per event objectives; work with vendors to determine and confirm event details

·         Work with vendors and internal partners to order, manage, and track fulfillment of sponsor assets accurately and in a timely manner

·         Serve as a key contact for external partners related to sponsor assets

Administrative (50%):

·         Create periodic reports to show progress toward project fulfillment obligations

·         Coordinating meeting rooms, agendas, and presentation materials

·         Coordinate calendars for meetings and travel

·         Track invoicing, orders, and deliveries

·         Oversee and track delivery of event tickets

Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and a customer-service mindset are required. Other required competencies include written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving, and basic budgeting. Three-plus years of work experience in administration, account management, customer service, or related fields. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. A four-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred. 

Working Conditions:

The position requires extended periods of sitting at a computer. Occasional evenings and weekends are required. Must have access to reliable transportation. Occasionally required to pick up and/or deliver assets to sponsors.

Contract Term:

November 1, 2024 – July 31, 2026
