The Compliance Audit Manager has oversight of compliance quality assurance activities within The Harris Center and management of the Compliance Auditing department. This position coordinates and implements a compliance quality assurance program for The Harris Center. The Compliance Audit Manager monitors and advises on the performance of the Harris Center's compliance management system, produces data, and reports on performance, measuring against established indicators.
Your role in action:
- Manages the Compliance Auditing team.
- Provides center-wide oversight which includes consultation to all program directors, managers, staff, and unit level program monitors.
- Facilitates inter-rater reviews (review of unit level program monitor’s findings).
- Facilitates all Compliance Auditing activities.
- Identifies problems by consulting with professional and support staff, observing staff performance, monitoring program implementation, and reviewing records, reports, special studies, and utilization/financial data.
- Conduct Investigations, surveys, and prepare reports on findings, to include recommendations and corrective actions if applicable.
- Develops and establishes systems for collecting data; analyzes statistical data collected from studies; prepares both technical & general reports which summarize results and makes recommendations.
- Identifies relevant Compliance quality-related training needs and providing training.
- Monitors performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
- Assists Compliance staff with quality improvement measurements.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, operational guidelines, and contractual agreements relating to compliance standards.
- Monitors and updates policies and procedures to include regulatory changes and coordinates activities required to meet compliance standards.
- Monitor and track the implementation of corrective action plans
- Complies with all safety and health requirements and regulations in accordance with all applicable standards, e.g. HHS, The Harris Center, State licensing boards, programs, etc.
- Meets all required education and training in accordance with all applicable standards, e.g., HHS, The Harris Center, State licensing boards, programs, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management or Public Policy preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years managing complex projects related to Healthcare Compliance & the organizational management of large healthcare systems.
Other Key Qualifications:
- Certified Healthcare Auditor or Registered Nurse preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- State and Federal Regulations to healthcare services
- Texas Administrative Code; Performance Contract
- Must be able to communicate clearly and possess strong analytical skills and interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of all work-related matters.
- Must have well-developed interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills, and be a team player with a desire to provide a high level of customer service.
