Description
Responsibilities:
- Foster and grow relationships with national Industry Associations and Alliances
- Research, confirm, attend, and network at industry events and conferences to generate leads that alliant can bring value
- Partner with the senior level business development directors, relationship directors and Enterprise Directors to contact and follow up with potential clients
- Educate CPA channels, alliances, and businesses on alliance’s AI consulting capabilities
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects and referrals to drive business and value to the firm and U.S. businesses
- Leverage and establish further connections with alliant’s strategic advisory board into untapped markets
- Establish credibility and execute as a world class leader in the consulting and technology industry
- Passion for AI and a continuous learner of everything AI-related
- High energy, flexible individual who loves meeting and interacting with new people
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- Preferred 4+ years of professional business development experience and working directly with senior executives, including the C-suite
- Experience in a professional services environment, highly complex consulting environment, or executive search firm is highly preferred
- Ability to gain new business over the phone and in-person with a highly consultative approach
- Proven success record selling and maintaining relationships in the C-Suite, as well as with bringing in generous revenue
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong client service, with the ability to “create raving fans!”
- Collaborative, self-motivated, competitive, and highly professional
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially strong Excel skills)
- Experience working in Salesforce is a plus
- Self-motivated, results oriented, collaborative team player
- High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
- Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential
- Available to travel 40%-50% within the United States
- Candidate must reside or relocate to Houston, TX
